Marius Stander originally started this business based in Industrial George way back in 2002. With a production of 160kg a day. These days Mr Ice  has grown to a 14 ton production per day. 6 Freezer rooms. Fleet consists of 4 Delivery vans, a 3 ton and a 4 ton truck.

Mr Ice is a local ice manufacturing company, providing service 5 days a week off peak times and 7 days peak times during the year. We are known for our exceptional customer service and on-time delivery. We provide ice through several avenues of distribution including, supermarkets, petrol stations, restaurants, clubs, Spaza shops, special events and various commercial users. We take pride in our product, and promise to deliver the best ice to our customers.

George is under a threat of a lack of sufficient water, while water quality and availability issues are becoming more acute. We invest in new machines with only a 5% of water wasting while all other machines have a wasting of 40% of water. We strive to attain the high standards and manufacturing practices and purity.
